DukItan Software developed the Split mobile application to provide sports timing and checkpoint logging for competitive events.

1. Camera Access

  • The app requests camera permission solely to scan and decode QR Codes at race checkpoints and on participant badges.
  • Camera images are processed locally in real time and are never stored or transmitted to external servers.

2. Competition Data

  • Event records, split timestamps, and participant bib identifiers are transmitted to event servers exclusively to calculate official race results and online standings.
